West Gate Tunnel Project – Further Footscray Road Disruptions to Impact Port Access

CTAA has been in consultations with the West Gate Tunnel Project, Transurban, the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA), the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), and the Port of Melbourne regarding the next phases of elevated roadway construction along the Footscray Road alignment in the Swanson Precinct and its impact on heavy vehicle access.

The road restrictions and heavy vehicle detours will continue to challenge heavy vehicle access to/from the Swanson Precinct of the Port of Melbourne into DP World West Swanson Terminal and the DP World Melbourne Logistics Park (MLC).
