Fremantle Ports Industrial Action Update

Fremantle Ports’ vessel traffic service officers and small craft personnel covered by the Marine Services Enterprise Agreement are taking 48 hours protected industrial action from 5.30am, today, Sunday August 18 for 48 hours.

The Fremantle Ports’ Harbour Master has issued an instruction that “Fremantle Port Authority will not be providing VTS service to vessels during the period from 18 August 2024 / 0530 hours until 20 August 2024 / 0530 hours.”

Several arriving container vessels over the next several days are likely to be impacted and their berthing schedules delayed.
